By accessing or using TabApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this application.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. Service Description
TabApp is a bill splitting application that allows users to:
- Create and manage shared expense tabs
- Split bills among multiple participants
- Track who owes what and to whom
- Share tabs with friends and family via invite links
- Upload and process receipts for automatic item entry
TabApp is a tool for organizing and tracking shared expenses. It does not process payments directly or transfer money between users.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of TabApp, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Responsibilities
When using TabApp, you agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
- Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Not upload malicious content or attempt to harm other users
- Respect the privacy and data of other users
- Not use the service for fraudulent activities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of expense data you enter into TabApp. Disputes between users regarding shared expenses are between those users, and TabApp is not a party to such disputes.
5. Intellectual Property
The TabApp service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by TabApp and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the service without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any data you input into TabApp. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the service.
6. Limitation of Liability
TabApp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TabApp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any third-party conduct on the service
- Any other matter relating to the service
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TabApp, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
